Wednesday night...Upland High stadium was full of excited students and proud parents and friends. Watching the teacher/student battles over beach balls provided some entertainment, although it did make it difficult for the speakers. I don't really think the word "decorum" is taught anymore. At any rate, the names were read and then it was over, and 800+ students rejoiced to be moving on with their lives.
Graduation is now over...and Monday is approaching all too quickly! Just as Will is preparing to go, the rest of us are preparing ourselves for his departure. There are moments of tears, but many more moments of anticipation for what the next 13 weeks hold in store for both him and Aaron. We wonder if we'll be able to recognize them when we see them at their graduation??? The sure hope we have is that God has them in the palms of His hands and will continue to direct their paths, conforming them into the image of Christ.
